ORLANDO, FLORIDA, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 — Over the Labor Day weekend, Johnny Magic did not spend his time off at the beach, but instead, took part in renovating the Teacher’s Lounge at Sadler Elementary with his nonprofit, Baby DJ’s newest program, Central Florida Together We Can. Teachers of Sadler Elementary arrived to work on Tuesday morning to a delightful surprise. The teachers' faces were full of shock and smiles as they walked into the newly renovated chic Teacher’s lounge and some even mentioned that they initially thought they had walked into the wrong room.
“It starts with the teachers. If their spirits are high and they enjoy what they do and where they are, then it carries onto the students…We can’t do this without each other and that is why we call it Central Florida Together We Can” said Johnny Magic, Host of Johnny's House on XL 1067 and Founder of Baby DJ.
Six Central Florida companies partnered with Central Florida Together We Can, to complete a total renovation of the Teacher’s Lounge at Title I school, Sadler Elementary.
JCQ Services, Inc donated and provided services to install new cabinets and shelves, granite countertop and sink, baseboards, and a new TV. D'Vine Painting donated paint and painting services. Assured Partners donated a trendy new coffee bar, curtains, decor, and stocked snacks. Gabriela Ortigoni from the Hispanic Economic Foundation, provided lunch for volunteers one day during the renovation. The Staging Company provided services and donated furniture. Southeast Steel donated a refrigerator and The Nickley Group donated a second refrigerator, decorations, and stocked snacks.
To kick off the new school year, the program also supplied Sadler Elementary with a U-Haul full of school supplies and new sporting equipment donations from their Amazon Wishlist.
“The Nickley Group is honored to join Together We Can in making a significant impact on this deserving school. Supporting our community is central to TNG's values, and this project resonated with us from the moment Johnny shared it. The teachers and students are truly the heart of our community, and they deserve to feel the love and support they bring to all of us.” said Tom Nickley, Owner, The Nickley Group.
Central Florida Together We Can will continue their work with Sadler Elementary throughout the year and believe that anything is possible with Central Florida’s generous community support.

Central Florida Together We Can
Central Florida Together We Can launched in August 2024 in collaboration with Johnny Magic’s recognized nonprofit, Baby DJ Inc. The program was founded with an ambitious goal to support a Title I school by ensuring it has the resources needed to successfully become an 'A' school. The goal is to demonstrate that with the support of the community and local businesses, any school can achieve this level of excellence. Central Florida Together We Can focuses on supporting one Central Florida Title I school at a time in areas where they normally wouldn’t receive assistance, all while striving to amplify student success, happiness and opportunities.
